The short answer
Qur’an 60:8 permits kindness and justice towards people who are not fighting or expelling believers because of religion. Qur’an 31:15 describes courteous companionship with parents even where there is a serious disagreement about worship. These are important foundations for relationships across religious difference.
A little more context
Specific questions about religious ceremonies, marriage, or shared practices have their own scholarly discussions. They should not be collapsed into a demand to abandon every person you already care about. Explain your needs respectfully and make room for others’ questions.
If a change of belief could bring threats or loss of essential support, careful planning and trusted help matter. You are not required by this website to disclose anything or make a public decision.
